If you’ve been using social media for a few years now, you’ve probably noticed that the organic reach (who see’s your posts without you paying for ads) has decreased substantially.
This is because the social networks want you to pay for advertising.
In this video, I summarise what you need to do to get more organic views and engagement on the most popular platforms.
Hi and welcome to this week’s “Small Business Marketing Tips Friday”
Have you noticed that your organic reach on social media has really dropped?
In this week’s video we’re gonna show you how to increase this without paying a dime!
Get to know your algorithms.
The Facebook algorithm works on interaction.
Make sure if somebody “likes” one of your posts that you interact with them.
Better still, interact with “video”
Instagram likes engagement on a post.
So get that conversation flowing if somebody “likes” or “comments” on your post.
It’s exactly the same on Twitter.
Have a conversation within the tweet that you’ve just posted.
On Snapchat the users that post the most, RULE the top slot!
On Pinterest it’s all about “keywords.”
Make sure you have them in your titles and on your boards and really engage with anybody that interacts with your pins.
The main takeaway is engagement.
If you don’t like engaging….Social media is definitely not for you.
So that’s it for this week.
Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see ya next week!
